Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026. This is the binding agreement between you and Front Porch Post. It is not a substitute for legal advice — for your own protection, please review with an attorney before relying on it.

Subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds

Front Porch Post is offered on a recurring subscription basis. By starting a subscription, you authorize Front Porch Post to charge the payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing period. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Each printed newsletter issue is a custom, made-to-order product. Once you submit a newsletter for print, that order is considered final and non-refundable. If you do not wish to be charged for a given issue, you must cancel your subscription or skip that issue before submitting it for print.

Your content and license to us

You own the content you upload to Front Porch Post. By submitting text and images, you grant Front Porch Post a limited license to store, process, and print your content solely for the purpose of providing the Front Porch Post service to you (for example, generating and printing your family newsletter). Front Porch Post does not claim ownership over your content and will not sell your personal family content to third parties.

Data security and storage

Front Porch Post takes reasonable measures to protect your content and account information; however, no online service can guarantee 100% security or permanent data retention. You are responsible for keeping backup copies of any content that is important to you (for example, saving PDFs of each newsletter). Front Porch Post is not liable for loss, corruption, or accidental deletion of content, except where prohibited by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Front Porch Post and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Front Porch Post' total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Founding Family pricing

If you are among the first 100 families to subscribe, your monthly rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel, the founding rate does not return when you re-subscribe.
